    Question d16y8 turbo?

    hey

    i wanted to kno if boosting a stock d16y8 be good?
    how many psi can it hold ..but not riskimg the engine to blow and how many hp would it have

    RedEj8 is right, this belongs in the forced induction forum. The links he provided are good resources too; turbod16.com has all the information you could possibly need in terms of boosting a D-series.

    As per your question, I've seen lots of people run D-series with stock internals around 6-8psi. Some people have gotten around 200whp at 8psi but that is pushing the limit.
