    I was asking if anyone knew a shop that could make a box, I didn't say if someone knew where I could get a strap to put it right there. The pic is a point of reference of where I wanted to relocate an Odyssey battery.

    I wanted to put the battery there for my own reason. Furthermore, if the car needed a jump, that is what battery posts are for. For those that have relocated their battery, some ppl do put battery posts on the firewall or the fender for ease of access in case their car needs a jump.

    As far as the relocation goes, I already have the battery in the trunk and I don't like it there because of all the stuff I carry in the back of the car. Hence, I wanted to move it back to the front, but out of the way.

    Does anyone know a shop that can make a box to relocate the battery?

    I've seen it mounted there on multiple drag racing applications.

    Not sure about it on a street car, but who knows. Like X-Runner said, it's also the factory spot for a few vehicles, including the Dodge Stratus. Hell, some BMW's and Volvos have the battery underneath the rear seats.

    Or traction on the front wheels in a FWD platform...

    I could see trunk relocation being a viable option for road race/auto-x. But then again, I'm not someone that gets paid stupid amounts of money to construct professional race cars.

    Yeah I guess in a drag car FWD it makes sense.

    Do what you want though it's your car, if it's a lightweight battery putting it there probably wont do much difference handling wise, especially if you aren't racing.

    Many road race cars have the battery in the trunk, or somewhere else to even out weight.

    No, but you have seen enough batt relocations to know what works . Just remember if you relocate in front of the tire you need to make sure that it is very secure. If you follow NHRA guidelines it will be pretty secure. Also you may want to put a remote kill switch on it so if you go to the track you wont have any issues with tech and it is a little safer.

    How about this location(right behind the intercooler and no it doesnt get heat soaked)?

    ^^No but it's a handy brace when figuring out how to run intercooler piping, which I would say they are doing in that pic, judging from the blue painter's tape on the pipes.

    It's easy. Materials ran me about $50, and it takes less than an hour to do.

    Its funny. Everyone keep saing if you get in an accident its gonna exploed and catch the car on fire. Ok what do you think will happen if the battery is located inside the car. For example you get rear ended, The battery is gonna exploed with you in the car. Wow that makes sense!!

    If you aint drag racing or a show car. You should leave in stock location!

    Oh and i have mine mounted on the passenger side fenderwell also. Just get remote battery terminals and you go too go..

    it only cost me $17 for 20ft of 2 gauge battery wire and about 5 hours to relocate the battery and fuse box.
