Clean or not, not going to be pretty in a fender bender.

That is the factory spot on some cars. I don't see the issue really.

i imagine if they did it like this from the factory that they have a different battery and some kind of protection around it to prevent it from blowing up in a 10mph hit

not to mention, i doubt this civic is really a show car...i'm 90% certain this will be his daily

What are you talking about? When a civic is disassembled for more than 3 months, it automatically becomes a show car with a baller build planned.
