    Default ls vtec turbo not engauging vtec

    i have 99 civic ex. it has a ls vtec swap done to it. only that vtec isnt poping. car has a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness. i checked the soliniod and its good. so i think that the probnlem might be electricle. i have the pin out diagram for the p72 thats in there now. but i dont know how the go back to the harness. and when you do hit it the check engine light comes a bit after where vtec hits
    any help is good guys reps will be given

    chipped ecu? tuned? cel comes on immediately when vtec hits or when you get near redline? does the cel stay on after hitting vtec? have you jumped the ecu to see what codes you have?

    i wouldn't trust those jumper harness wire vtec straight to the ecu as well as the knock and pressure.....

    i got it guys the oil pressure wire and vtec solinoid wire were touching under the dash and making contact
