My cousin's (OP is his friend) neighbor has a Aw11 (84-89) Mr2. Silver, doesnt look bad. He drove it last year, it used to be in his drive way. Now its in his backyard on jack stands. I wonder if it runs, if it does. We'd buy it to build it. If it doesnt run, we'd try to get it really cheap and buy a motor for it. Hes asking where could we get a motor/tranny? Whats a fast swap thats cheap?

I'm gonna go to my cousin's house in a bit, so we could ask the guy. I wanna get my hands on that mr2!

if it does not run, might just need to find out why, before swapping the motor. unless, it has slung a rod or something. best bet, is to get the info on the car and go from there.
