yes, have the flywheel resurfaced, if you don't, you could fuck up the new clutch real quick like.
you may think the surface is flat, but if its not, then the disk will not be able to grip the surface like it should causing slippage.
i would also change the pilot and throw out bearing too.

oh, and it might be easier to drop the motor and tranny out of the car to do it. if you don't, well, have fun. and don't misalign the spline with the disk/flywheel, and dont hit any of the plate things on the pressure plate, bend any of those and it could cause some problems.
if you bought a brand new clutch, then it will have all the instructions and whatnot.
