Default lowering a 89 prelude si aws

i have a friend that is wanting to lower a 89 prelude si aws. we cant find any coil overs for it. i was wanting to know if any other car had the same suspension as it. such as an older accord or something that might have more of a selection.

    thanks for any help.

First, I have always been told to never, I repeat, NEVER cut the springs. Always heat them if their is no other way. But I know Ebay had some coilovers for BA preludes a few months ago. Just double check before you go screwing with the orginal suspension.

I don't think I ever found any d2's. The one's I found were like $150. But I knew of a few people with the same coilovers and they never had any problems. I mean, of course they weren't fit for autocrossing or anything, but they didn't ride all that bad. Mainly depended on how low you had them set. Just keep looking cause I know their on Ebay somewhere. But by all means, if he wants to spend the $900 on some coilovers, go for it...lolol

D2 is probably my number 2 choice, but money is tight around these parts! but remember buying cheap parts means its probably gonna be a cheap product, but you never know, you could get lucky!!

I'm all out on idea's where to get stuff for the BA. They're kinda hard to shop for aftermarket parts. Nopi.com has a bunch of OEM and a few aftermarket parts pretty cheap compared to Autozone and Advanced. Believe me, I priced everywhere when I had mine.

No problem man. If you ever need anything else on it, pretty much anything... I'm sure I have a write-up saved on my computer or I know about it. When I had mine, I looked over some many write-ups, etc over them...haha
