Default Locking the timing on a stock dizzy?

what needs to be done to do it? i have looked around in other forums and the only info i can find on locking timing is either with an aftermarket distributor or XFI timing lock. both of witch i do not have the money 4 right now. any one here on IA have any suggestions or experience with locking the timing on a stock distributor on a 5.0L Mustang?

If it is fuel injected, all you have to do is remove the spout plug.

Found a picture of it. Just take it out, and set the timing.
