    Default gsr ticking

    Im getting a loud ticking from my gsr motor. It gets louder when ever i go into vtec but if i drive it around under 4k its not that loud. I adj the valves when I dropped it in bout 4 days ago. any one got some suggestions. thanx for the space

    It has got to be something in the valvetrain. I don't know your mechanical qualifications but if you adjusted the valves wrong then that could be your problem. Low on oil? Oil pump going bad? Just a few things that come to mind.

    .007 on the intake
    .009 on the exhaust

    but if it still does it, it could be a rod knock

    the swap in nice man. big difference from the whoopin 70hp motor. I need to get tuned now and im good. sean hit me up on AIM when ever man. thanx for all the inputs and stuff.
