My sister has a 99 passat 1.8t and it is dumping oil out of what I am guessing is an external oil pump?It is about an inch above the oil filter were it is leaking from a seal.I don't know if that seperates or if you have to replace that hole unit.I will take it apart on Sat. to find out for sure ,just wanted to get some advice from some of you vw guys.Thanks for any help
