    Question 300zx Crankshaft job....

    if provided the part how much does a job like this run?
    and how much with parts and labor?

    More then most wants to spend!!!


    if you take the motor out and bring the crank , bearings,piston rings,all gaskets, and you pay for the machine work your looking around 750ish-1000

    Very true!....I wouldnt rebuild this motor if it was my car...at this time JDM motor FTW!

    well whats the labor on putting in a motor?

    i hate this middle man stuff but im just tryna help a friend

    tell you friend to junk the car he cant take care of it. then tell him to get a cheap honda because if this happens again to him, then it will be even cheaper for him to fix. im sorry after a certain point its not worth trying to fix something as big as a knocking bottom end... especaily in a Z32... lol Z32 lol oh and a honda will get better gas mileage.

    well... he is actually fond of the car i think. he's not a car guy so he really is not mechanically inclined. but he does know what he likes and he likes his Z
