Exclamation A quick paint job I can do myself

Oh ok IA Just got a accord and paint job is not so hot rite now...... Its primer a light gray and dark gray and black on front end.... I wanna redo it myself... and I wanna go wit deep dark blue..... I had plan on doing it wit spray cans.... (I know it sound cheap but am a student ballin on a budget)... I been told since am going wit a dark blue I would need to go wit black primer... and I was thinkin since the car is two tone I would need to just over the whole car wit a black primer before I paint it.... But should I resand it than primer it again or could I just go on head primer it as it sits... Somebody let me know whats the best way plz out there its needing alot work asap.... Thanks IA
Mane what a year it has been already.....

just wet sand the primer with some 400 grit before you put your paint on!

Not sure if you know this, but you're not going to be "ballin" with a rattle can paint job on your car. Sorry, had too quote you on that.

Hope everything turns out good for you though.

yes resand the car. wet sand it id ur broke, n out of a rattlecan ur not gonna really get a cheap ballin paint job (except the lil ball that makes it rattle). ur not gonna get the shine u think u will have. honestly, if its ur first attempt the primer will prob look better than the paint. if ur wantin it to be present able save for automotive paint, or try sanding it to the point ur happy n let maaco do it for $2oo bux is ur best bet.

Rolling works fine if you prep the car properly, apply the paint evenly and then wet sand it back smooth.

i painted my car for about $150.turned out very well IMO and others for a hour or 2 of work.

Just head to Finishmasters**AutoColor** in lawrenceville or chamblee tucker off 85.
have them Mix up the paint for ya for prolly $70ish per quart and then get a gallon of clear with harnder for $60ish depending on company *my SMART clear was 66 and some change$

if the car is primerd, you need to either sand it with 320g and go back over it with 600g..or like somebody said wetsand it with probably 600g also.

then just go to town..I have a DIY on here from when i did mine.

    edit: found it
