    Default 94 civic clutch question

my buddy has a 94 EG manual , he had a "buddy" put in a "new" clutch about a year ago. car ran fine for about two months , then all of a sudden no clutch. car has sat for 8 months , it fires up fine and idles like it should . here comes the part , i got in the car , started it and put clutch in and went through all the gears , everything went well(small grind when i tried reverse , but it went in) well , lol i took my foot off the clutch and again i went through the gears , no problem right , buhahahahaha , please tell me why when the car is runnin i can shift the gears clutchless? , i did check the fluid and it was full , i also saw no leaks( by cyl and under the dash behind the pedals) , i am leanin towards a shot clutch , or no alignment tool used , what are ya'll thoughts , thanx in advance

hummm....Sounds like something inside, what you need to do is take the tranny out an inspect the clutch, if checks out fine might be inside the tranny....But I think its something to do with the clutch disc.....Sorry man not to much help, most shops will tell you to if the slave is moving 100% that its inside they must take apart to inspect whats causing you this problem...Guessing threw a car forum isnt the way to fix it , but taking it apart after checking the slave for movement is...Best of luck man .Let me know if I can help
