    Default oil catch can?

    i just traded my ole mr2 for a turbo civic. its my first boosted car so i dont know too much bout em yet...i noticed the other day that the car is leakin oil. not dramatically bad i was just wondering if its because i dont have a catch can?
    any advice you can give ill take cause i love the boost and id rather not blow it up!!!

    where was the general area of the leak

    it looks like its runnin off of a lower motor mount or something like that.. is coming from the backside of the engine...but it seems like theres a fine coat of oil just covering much of the underbody of the car near the engine?

    check all the main parts where it could be leaking, oil filter, headgasket, rear main seal. you knoe all the main places. or do what i did, clean off the whole engine reallt clean then run it for a day and see where its coming from

    yea... what did you clean it with? that spray engine cleaner? sounds like the easiest way for me

    i used brake parts clean bc everything comes off very good

    Has nothing to do with a oil catch can,that is only to prevent oil from getting into the manifold just clean and check for leaks hope you figure it out
