    I wouldn't spend any money.

I'd stick to having a "teggy" and "2nr"ing it.

240s are sick. But i would just get some spray for you integra that would be more gooder than tunering an integra.

just a thought... but you mentioned in your other thread that you and a buddy had to combine money to buy a car to start drifting. can you afford tires? how about $75-$90 entry fees for each event? you said you planned on swapping it, know how much that actually runs in the end?

just some stuff to think about. drifting isn't a cheap sport by any means (unless you're one of those ghey internet/street drifters).

I'll sell you a red top for $4000.

Way better deal then that $4500 you'd pay.

tiger racing told me $4500 for clip and labor including brand new stage 4 clutch, intercooler piping, and some other stuff--do you know anywhere that will do it for less but still reliable?

I've got a 240 at my shop that doesn't have an engine in it, a RB20DET front clip, and the matching rear end. If your are interested let me know and I'll put the owner in touch with you. I think he's got $2,500.00 in the clip/rear end and $500.00 in the car. He'd probably take what he has invested. Gotta tell you though, the $4,200.00 to $4,500.00 might get you rolling but it's going to cost a lot more to make a decent drift car.

that's the cheap "drifting" ... to REALLY drift you need the $5500 engine swap... these people here don't know what they're talking about... better yet, spend $7500, you'll be drifting like a pro!

I'm not sure where you got a $7,500.00 price for a motor swap because that's way off my charts. You sure that amount didn't include some preparation for the car like suspension, brakes, tires, etc, etc., and some drivetrain improvements?

ca18 is the best motor for drifting.

    I'd get one of those.

RB20 front clip. Engine, Tranny, ECU, and Wiring Harness plus rear end. I did err, however, as he has $2,000.00 in the above plus a '89 240 (180SX Style) he has $500.00 in with clear title. $2,500.00 for everything. He wants a Miata. Clip came from Jarco.

I'd rather have no engine then an rb20 in my 240.

That and I like talking shit about rb20s because they are slow.
