    Default Help with 2005 RSX-S

My gf's car died b.c she left her lights on. Her MORON boss tried to jump it but got the + - wrong. She said her car smoked and her horn went ape shit. I went to go pick her up after work and tried jumping it again. It seems her car battery has some juice left. It doesn't even click when you turn it on, no lights turn on.

Where do I start looking to diagnose the problem?

    Thanks

hopefully it just damaged the battery, but it could've also damaged a number of things down the line (relays, fuses, ecu-yikes!). try changing w/ a known good batt first.

yes, but if the batt was connected backward and was smoking the batt is still damaged as well and is going to have problems down the road if not now. i've seen batt that this has been done to explode and i wouldn't risk it.

Thats what I told her, if she doesn't do it I will. She was worried it would change there relationship at work, especially with the economy the way it is. Luckily it was a $2 fix.

roll window down and up all the way a couple of times, pull and push two clicks. that should reprogram your switch for express up and down
