Buddy of mine has a ys1 first gen gsr tranny with lsd, and gears 1-4 are grinding just wanted to know is there anything he could do to stop the griding without going into tranny and changing syncros.

well it wont hurt to use some GM synchromize, and or some honda MTF . Me at one point i was going to see my gsr tranny for 100 because it kept on popping out of gears and grinding. threw in some a bottle of GM synchromize and bottle 1/2 of honda MTF and it fixed my problem. and found out that i was runnning low on transmission fluid as well so iono check it out
