that's the only answer i've heard that seemed creditable in all the research i did. if you do it legit it will cost you a bajillion bucks, but if you know someone who can help you then you'll get it done much cheaper. the only legal way is to do all kinds of safety upgrades on one since japanese cars aren't even close to meeting our safety regulations and is ridiculously expensive. you have to replace glass and doors and all kinds of shit. but if you work the system and title it as something other than a regular ol' car then you'll probably need to know someone that can help you sneak that through.
