    Default Starter bolt problem

After taking our very own "JDM > USDM" on a ride in my car, the starter ripped out the bottom starter bolt in a fit of joyous torque.

The bolt is still in perfect shape, but the threads in the tranny... well, they're non-existent at this point. How do I go about fixing this without a new tranny case? Do I just drill the size of the bolt then tap with the next size up? Or what?

I would just retap the hole for a bolt that is one side up, Evan.

Heli also, but it didnt come out due to torque came out due to someone damage the threads by installing the bolt in , stipping the threads , and it just didnt last .

I was just playing around with that comment. It wheel hopped kind of bad, so I assume it just jerked it out during that.

It's fixed now though, thanks guys
