Need Info on 2nd Gen Acura CL/TL

After selling my Cobra, I am in the market for something more practical. I have always liked the 2nd Gen Acura CL and TL and would like to find some good information about these cars. I heard about a problem with the automatic transmissions but I dont know how often or how serious the problem is. Does anyone know about these cars or can someone point me in the direction of someone/place that does?

The automatic transmissions have issues. The replacements are suppose to be better and were often covered under some special policy. Everything else is nice. Its also not as stiff as a 3G TL so rattles are not usually an issue. The Type S models get up and move pretty well too.

Transmission extended warranty was only offered until around the 107k mark. The automagics have issues. I just finished helping a guy replace his over Christmas break. He had 125k miles on it.
