    Default VSS sh*t

I replaced the vss because my speedo was bouncing around all over the place and when I replaced it, it stopped working so I put the old one back in and it was jumping around like originally. Well now it has completely stopped working. It would sometimes jump around for a second if I hit a bump but now it doesn't move at all, and all the rest of guages work fine. So can anyone help me out if anybody has had this problem, I really hate not knowing how fast I'm going

common problem you have to make sure its completely in the trans and lined up otherwise it wont work.

One way to test it is to plug it in outside of the trans, and spin it by hand an see if your speedo moves.

SOMETIMES the gauge cluster can be bad i have seen that happen
