a hard question i have a 16now,but sometimes i miss my 18 it had pretty good torque for a 90/
b16s are slow go with the b18
that dependson the driver and builder. the only thing that will ever go in my hatch are b16. ive had 2 boosted b16 in there and it wasnt slow at all.Originally Posted by kpowerhatch

If your going to boost, just stick with the LS. Go do some h/w on Honda-tech or even on this site. So many people have done both b16 turbo or b18 turbo.

just get a b18c5
if you do the LS vtec, the head will rise unless you do it right, which like others have stated, will cost a good amount of money, but then again so will the b18c5
just do a ls non vtec with the GSR tranny, my buddy has it and it is stout

well when i say b18 i mean gsr. b18c or b18c5. not ls.
