a hard question i have a 16now,but sometimes i miss my 18 it had pretty good torque for a 90/
b16s are slow go with the b18
that dependson the driver and builder. the only thing that will ever go in my hatch are b16. ive had 2 boosted b16 in there and it wasnt slow at all.Originally Posted by kpowerhatch

well he shouldve specified. lol!! my stock b16 made 154 to the wheels and it was pretty descent compared to most stock cars. s2000, rsx, type r's. race all of them back in the days at commerce and they couldnt handle "ole smokie". couldve been the drivers but oh well, winning is winning. lol!!!
doesnt the b16 head fit on the b18? if so id do that.
but ultimately id get rid of the honda and get something else.
or just buy a gsr.
me personally id do a b18 gsr tranny over a b16 anything.

takes alot of money to do a ls vtec the right way. i was planning on doing one my self but if its not done right you will spend a ton of money
then screw the b series and do a h or k series
yea it cost a lot to do a ls vtec if u want one thats already built for boost i will sell u mine in my da shell for 2000 runs in drives.

If your going to boost, just stick with the LS. Go do some h/w on Honda-tech or even on this site. So many people have done both b16 turbo or b18 turbo.

just get a b18c5
if you do the LS vtec, the head will rise unless you do it right, which like others have stated, will cost a good amount of money, but then again so will the b18c5
just do a ls non vtec with the GSR tranny, my buddy has it and it is stout
