    Default CONVERTING AUTO TO MANUAL???

    SO IM GOING TO GET A DA PRETTY SOON. HOWEVER THE CAR IS AUTO AND I CANT DO AUTO. SO I WANT TO MAKE IT MANUAL AND MY QUESTION IS IS THIS HARD TO DO? IS IT A PAIN IN THE A.SS OR CAN IT BE DONE SMOOTHLY? I HAVE EVERYTHING NEEDED TO DO THE CONVERSION TOO. LMK PPL AND I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

    if u dont have the car already..just find one that is already manual

    to each his own..but after going through my experience..i wouldnt do it again..i mean its not that bad..but i'd rather go w/ something thats manual from the factory

    its not hard at all. the hardest part for me is getting the nuts under the dash. i got big hands so they dont fit up under there.

    i did my first and prolly last one last year. like everybody said its not hard but id rather build engines all day, everyday than to do another one. i hate working under the dash.

    I have done so many auto to manual swaps!! lol. I did one a week for 2-3 months straight last year. My question to all is why not just buy a manual?

    i just recently did a manual swap in my eg8.. not too hard.. it took me one weekend of laziness and no help.. but im like you, i got a good deal an auto..

    so i guess the main question is, would i do it again? i'd say definitely. you dont find too many good deals these days, so you gotta jump on it when you do
