    Default new radiator problem

alright, i just swapped my stock radiator for a koyo, but for some reason, after awhile my radiator reservoir tank overflows and bubbles till it start spilling out.

also the lower radiator hose feels like it's empty. I replaced the thermostat with a napa one awhile ago. Is it alright to run without one?

Also swapped the cap with a new one already

did you bleed the system after changing out the radiator?

take the cap off and run the car until the fan comes on and squeeze the hoses until all the air bubbles stop and keep filling the rad.

couldn't pop vtec without it so i bought a OEM thermostat and replaced it. same thing, flushed that sucker, refilled it, and then left the cap open so it can air out.

same outcome, the reservoir overflowed again

could it be a bad rad?

the hose that connect to the rad cap area blows out steam too

so it works np without thermostat? but you cant pop vtec??? ....well that means for you not to be able to pop vtec your motor is staying stupid cold are you sure there is nothing clogging the radiator where the hoses are attatched?

You can but not recommended. The engine needs a certain temp to run properly. They werent designed to run constantly at 185º

I'm assuming you have a water temperature gauge in the car? When it starts overflowing, is the car at operating temperature or not?
