I dont think you understand, when your compression is low, its becasue of valve seals, or the rings in the motor.Your compression should not be that low. Something else when you put oil in the motor and do a compression test your, readings will be higher then, since the oil is sealing up the rings.

You need to take the car too a shop and have them do a leak down and a Compression test again. I dont mean to say this but i DOnt think you know what your doing.

Where all on here telling you something aint right. We aint saying it for our health. Of course Andrew gonna find stuff to fix, he dont wanna return a car or money. But something is seriously wrong!!!

    At 10.8 CR, 10.8 x 14.7 = 160psi. Why is the cylinder pressure 270?
270psi/14.7 = 18 times normal air pressure but the CR is only 10.8

CR should be a good way of estimating cylinder pressure but from your examples, obviously it isn't. What am I missing?

My motor supposedly has low compression pistons and had 127 all the way across and I've never had any problems out of it.
