    Default 9:1 cp pistons

    ok i just went to get my car tiuned and we ran into a tone of problems.he told me my cp was to low for the 9:1 pistons. 1st cylinder was 10 2nd&3rd 110 4th 140 is that normal.it has a fully built head crower stage 3 cams

    I think you meant 100. Even 110 is low - something is up.

    Thats pretty low atleast 180psi ... did you do a proper valve lash adjustment with stg3 cams? DOes teh car smoke on take off?

    180 for a high CR N/A motor. 140 is about right for 9:1 CR I think.

    no. 9:1 should be around 160-180. a stock gsr has 220-240 if its healthy

    i got the motor from andrew which he said someone built so im not sure if its a good motor or not.he suspposed to come check it out tomorrow and if its not gonna check out i guess where gonna go to court over this unless he wants to fix it like this weekend. i gotta have a car before i go back to college.but it was 140 110 110 140. itt has stage 3 cams in it but im not sure if the motor is even done right because everybody is sayin he is a bad person now

    i dont know who said i took the head off but i never took he head off.for some reason he had to put a timing belt on when he got here.im not sayin he screwed me but he gonna try and come up tomorrow and fix it

    we took the oil pan off not the head he offered to come take it apart to show me whats in it

    lol i understand i should of said.but if he comes thru and fix the engine tomorrow everything will be cleared.but its just so much from ppl thats makin me think even more

    hey someone lock this thread andrew came and fixed the engine it runs fine now time to go back and get it tuned

    well i talked to scotty he told me to let oil sit in the cylinders to built the compression back up.the 1000cc injectors must of washed the rings

    tha hell you talking about my old 10:1 gsr motor had 240 all across the board and my 10:8:1 h22 had 270
