I'm not a fan of neons. But if something is hitting the tube and breaking it, I would fab up a plexiglass shield for protection. And since you're going to keep the neons no matter what, I agree with addressing the possible flex theory, as well.
How are you mounting it?? Completely solid?? Apart from bouncing, something hitting it, someone breaking it, did anybody think about body flex?
If so, sorry I didnt see it.
sounds like a ricer but i zip tided my front neon onto the car frame. when i hit a hard bump or my front kit hit something, the neon has clearance and if the front kit dose touch the neon, it has some room to move
