    just judging from the N50 on the side of the ecu. usually manuals are like J00, J01, or N01, N00 or something like that. a 5 being in there designates that is came originally an automatic. at least that is the case for civic/integra ecu's mainly.

    well whats been done to make it work with my car h22a 5speed , and do you think i should get a new p13?

    i know automatic ecu's will work on manual cars. some throw codes, and some don't i guess. but yeah, i think you should get a new p13. all of the ecu's i've dealt w/ that had a burned spot, couldn't be fixed, cause the track[s] were burnt up.

    ok, i wonder why it still runs , vtec works and eveyrhting, i hit 140 mph yesterday lol. damn i looked online and p13's are pricey, maybe i should get a p28 and get tunedo n ectune or chrome, any suggestions?

    yeah, from my experience the car will run but kinda rough iirc. yeah you could get a chipped p28, or something and get it tuned.

    IIRC = If I Recall Correctly


    With my H22 EK (EJ for "JDM purists"), I had a Hondata P28. Got it dyno tuned by a pro and didn't worry about it ever again.

    iirc, is if i remember correctly.

    and for the chipped p28 deal, i could help ya out. but i have no extra ecu's laying around, i do have a h22a basemap that i put on a p28 before to run a h22a civic. and it was running fine.
