i'm also someone that doesnt like the appearance of the katanas, but i honestly think it's a mans perspectve. cause i've seen plenty of women w/ katanas, and some novices too. but mostly women. i'm looking at getting an '05 636 because i like the design and i've heard they are gr8 bikes.

i was thinking initially of the R6 or the gixxer7fiddy, but like you, price for me is key. and also reliability. a couple guys i know that ride. say gixxers will spent more time in the shop than on the road. and i can't have that.
