    Default off road xpipe for a 2004 mustang

    I was woundering if i put an off road x on my car will it mess up my air and fuel flow. Will the fact of not having cats mess up my air/fuel mixture.....?????????????????????

    no, but you will get a CEL if you don't get the CEL eliminator modules. It will also be extremely loud if you already have a catback. My brother-in-law has a 98 cobra with an offroad x pipe and slp catback. It's loud as shit, so loud that he is thinking about getting the on road x pipe. If you get the off road x pipe it will really benefit you to get a programmer and have the car tuned, but it's not required.

    Will not mess it up you have a MAF sensor that will correct anything
    Your check engine light will not come on unless you take the cats out!

    Thanks im thinking about just going with the xpipe w/ cats. but if anyone has any suggestions on a combination that i should go with throw it out there.......


    What i am looking for is a nice deep sound that you can hear coming.

    Well the off road one does not come with cats so the light will be on.......

    the offroad x pipe does not have cats... Thats why it's called "off road"

    my favorite exhaust combo on mustangs is a borla catback with a bassani catted x pipe.

    You can get a X pipe with cats!
