ok, just wanted to make sure. here we go. its cheap so its better than paying $95 for one that will be real. i had one... got ripped off for it b/c i didnt know what it was. but it shifted great and felt really good.
this is going to sound stupid, but itll work. without further delay, here we go.
materials- 3500lbs trailor hitch ( dont doubt it), grinder, drill with large drill bit, some kind of power saw, caliper paint ( or you can leave it silver)
get the trailor hitch and grind the numbers off the top. use the power saw to saw off the flared part at the bottom. grind where you sawed the bottom off. drill a hole in the center of the bottom where you just cut and smoothed. this is so that your shifter can go on your shift knob. thats pretty much it. you can use caliper paint to make it whatever color you want. then i would recommend gasket seal to make the shifter stay on. i used water weld b/c i had no intentions of takin mine off... but i did b/c my shifter was to short to use that shifter. i had to have a taller one. but it was a great shift when i used it. felt good. but i did take it off even with waterweld holding it on. had do use pliers but yea. hope this helps. lmk if anyone does this.
i might do this again in a few days and see if i can make a taller one. if i do ill post pix of the process.
