well to get you started a litttle

    89-94 = s13
    95-98=s14
and in japan anything 98+ is an s15

and i see u mentioned the posi trac the 95-98's come with limited slip and is completley transferable

oh and your motor u have in it is probably the KA24E motor which is the single overhead cam version 91-98's have the KA24DE's in em witch are the dual overhead cams

sr20s are over rated and expensive and if u plan on doing a swap do the RB swap

coupe or hatchback? to get a free short shifter i can hook you up with a diy that takes like 5 min. all ka trannys are the same. theyve got alot of torque. i love 240s. what are his plans for it? turbo, swap, just a few bolt ons?

first get a new shift knob with set screws b/c the shifter will not be threaded after you are through. take the original shifter out, put the bottom in a vice sideways --------- so it wont move. grab the fat part of the shifter with your hands if you can get a good grip on it, or use some kind of plier things, then twist it off, not sure which way it turns. but the fat part will come off and expose a rod. take that fat part and lay it to the side. take the other part out of the vice and put the new shift knob on it. there you have it. hope this helps.

my buddy did this the other day. came out great. perfect size. its a lil shorter than he wanted, but its taller than mine that i bought was which was good b/c mine was flush with my console lol, hurt my fingers to shift b/c i kept hitting the console lol.

im with rmeyer114. dont cut the springs. you can just buy some random springs from someone on here for cheap and put them on and be a better ride and just as easy. just my 2 cents tho

like I SAID BEFORE it was temporary.. only 2 days.. bouncey as hell but funny.. I can't remember the right up but its some car that you can use stocc springs on a s13 and flip it up side down and it will lower it about 2 inches.. you can cut about 2-4 coils if you want...
