****D16y8 head on D16z6 block****

I have to use the z6 camgear right...How about the distributor I know the z6 dizzy won't bolt up to the y8 head does the wiring have to modified? and I have to use 1 y8 head bolt.I want to get as much info on this as possible.

why ? jus put a z6 head on it with a y8 manifold ..... theres no diff in head except more work to make it work ..... only diff really is the manifold ....

well my z6 head was warped beyond repair and got stuck with a y8 head instead.

sell the y8 head and come get my z6 head that needs 1 intake valve for 50 $ .

You can use a D15 OBD1 dizzy on the y8 head and it will bolt up.
