    whats the easiest and quickest way to check the motor mounts to make sure they are ok.

    Most of the time you cant just look at them, some cars are in tight spaces an when they look to be fine they arent fine and need to be replace. My suggest first time is the way to do it!

    throw it in drive and reverse and hold the brakes to check the rear mount
    to many projects not enough money

    in this case he is clear. an i know for a fact they are all in plan view for the most part.

    well like the driver timing belt mount, it has a rubber peiece that blocks the view of the actual mount,

    oops your right for some reason I was thinking about my car ! Mine has the eg dc mount! not that POS hydro mount!

    Got me dammit, the one time you got me!

    But with that said its easyier an faster to power brake, takes me 10 secs to tell , looking to find your flash light then looking takes 10mins if you dont have to barrow someone elses flash lighht!
