    They're Frank Thomas leathers they fit absolutely horribly in the legs. I almost bought a dainese suit but figured I should wait till spring. No more racing for now, just track days on the college budget.

    Doohan was king of the little step out and save. I feel his riding in 1989 on that ruthless 500 was proof of that. After the big bang motors came into 500cc in 1992, it became much easier to ride (yes, i'm saying that about a 500)

    edit.....Ok, first you had Doohan, now you have Rossi.

    The 2003 season and those 990s are still my all time favorite race bikes. The slid like they didn't have traction control. Especially the Ducati.

    True, the 500 two stokes were like riding an angry bull.
