    i mean...instead of everyone just telling me its stupid...can someone explain why its not a good idea...i mean..its an engine...and a car..and i just want it to get me to work and back..and it only cost 500 dollars...i dont care if its 0-60 in 19 seconds...it just has to move....

    its GONNA BE MORE WORK THAN ITS WORTH FOR ANYTHING....you can get a motor to repair it for the same price as the D15.. thats whats the deal. Ive worked on alot of escorts...and replacing that motor will take you all of 2-3 hours.

    think about all the custom work your going to need.
    mounts
    axles
    wiring
    linkage
    cooling system
    just to name a few after u get done with all that u might as well of bought a running car.
