in a honda the ecu can compensate a little and changes in temperature, altitude, barometric pressure will affect the power it makes, but it will still be in tune-just making different power. however, w/ intake/tb you can at least run a cai to get cooler air to the motor on hot summer days. unless you run w/o a hood you're injesting under hood air. you could build a plenum around the itb and then run a cai to get the best of both worlds, but the effort and $ you put in may not be worth the gains you see over a good intake/tb/cai setup.
