Steering wheel shakes alot

bent wheel, tires out of balance, worn steering bushings,warped brake rotors, bad cv's, check to see if your lug nuts are tight...all possibilities..

That about sums it up. Most likely worn steering bushings! Because tires out of balance really don't shake until higher speeds most of the time, warped brake rotors only shake when your on the brakes, bad cv's wouldn't really make your sterring wheels shake, and a bent wheel could but it would have to be bent pretty bad.
