    Default Overheated, warped heads prolly

My dad has been letting a family friend (20 y/o)use his truck for a few months, well, yesterday he over heated it, so its brokeded.. lol

So he gave it back to my dad, broken, and now my dad is stuck and has to fix it..

its a 97 gmc silverado 1500 ext cab with a 350 in it, anyone able to fix it for cheap? or you think its not worth it and just sell it as a parts truck? what yall think? help?

    thanks in advance

if you get a compression tester and check each piston youll be able to tell if it has a warped head or not, not sur about silverado's but when overheated and warped my ls/vtec head on my honda the plugs were covered in oil...check those two thing and you should be able to tell
