Intake and exhaust. Pretty much. That's about the highlights. No nitrous. No boost. It's quick for what it is but isn't fast as it could be. But it's not slow..... I still have JC's SHO in my sights, though. As soon as I find out, I'll post a pic on how much it weighs and see if you still wanna play.Originally Posted by One_Bad_SHO

Stock for Stock... a well maintained SHO should be able to smoke a 626.
Thats so wierd when you say "JC's SHO".. because my name is also JC.Originally Posted by blackshine007

Kind of a bit offtopic, but check this video out. Its an 18g Turbo Eclipse vs my Buddys Supercharged SHO. My silver one is currently at his shop and is pushing more HP than his was in this video. I cant wait to get her back.
18G Eclipse vs SHO
^^Theorecticly speaking, that's true. Not quite the case here. I don't usually let all the squirels out the bag if you follow my drift. But I can let you know that it's an all factory effort going on is such a wonderful thing at that.

Good luck, be safe with however you guys decide to do this. And... get it on video!![]()
I would love a video of this shenanigans. I don't post up what I have because I don't need my business out there. I'll let anyone see it in person, but not on line. That, plus it keeps everyone guessing. I like that.

I'm that guy who tells the girl I'm only 3 inches when in reality it's not too far from the truth.... It's 3 inches..... from the ground![]()

I'm going to express myself as solidly and specifically as possible. I talk shit cuz I know the SHO can back it up. BLACKSHINE...you wait for Slimm to get his clutch done, and you race HIM. I'm older than you both and have been around the block. I'm not lining up unless there's something SIGNIFIGANT to gain. FUCK PRIDE I LIKE CYASH! I got three kids I'm raising, and the dumbess thing I could say to them is "Daddy's short on Christmas cuz his PRIDE got him a $300 ticket* LOL...so, yeah, you'll get your race. Don't worry. In fact, since Slimms SHO use to be mine, and I did all the mods to it, it's like you're racing ME anyway. Hang your panties on that notion.
I'm a FOOL WIT IT!

you dont wann run SLIMM anymore?! what is this? is someone backing down? i dont talk shit b/c i dont have to. tis all good brova. hell, i'll shit on u in my civic!
Slimm
^^I still wanna run you, that's no doubt. Keep in mind that you're gonna be running a car that weighs 2780 lbs with me in it. What's all done to the civic?

I have 2 kids myself and there's places for everything you need to get done. I know people who know people so that won't be a problem. Slimm, you let me know when you get this clutch in so I we can prove JC's point.Originally Posted by jc91sc

Slimms SHO vs Shauns 626. Thats the race. None of this "I've got another car for you" crap.
Be safe guys.
The thing about that is he's probably gonna make up more excuses as to why that won't happen. But that's what happen when you have a big bark with no bite. Instant failure.Originally Posted by One_Bad_SHO

thats wassup pimpn. i was talking shit about the civic. my civic, actually, is slow as hell and pushes 35 lb rims (each). but i will line up with you any day with the SHO. It will be on a track b/c I, too, have a 2 year old and have WAY too much to loose to fuck around w/ that underground shit. i did that when i was younger. believe, as soon as i get her together, you'll be one of the 1st to know.
Slimm
i'm a fan of SHO's myself. They do have pretty strong engines. I prefer the 3.4 V8. I myself have the 3.0 V6 24V DOHC engine in my Sable LS. I really wanted the V8, but it was hard to find a good one for a decent price. Oh well, mine is still running strong at 181,xxx plus miles.

why would I lying about it? I had tons of fun with all the power it had, but sadly I sure do miss driving it, cause right now it has a power steering leak. So, I'm stuck driving my civic ( only pro on the civic is that it saves on alot on gas compared to my Duratec engine). Hopefully I'll get it fixed soon, and enjoy the power within.Originally Posted by One_Bad_SHO

Seems to me you are somewhat confused. The 3.0 V6 DOHC motor you have in your sable is not the same as the 3.0L V6 DOHC that is in the SHO unless you performed a swap... in which case I ask for pics.Originally Posted by Joelow30071

my bad bro. I mistakenly was comparing my engine to the original SHO V6 engine, but didn't realize the fact it was made made Yamaha and not by Ford. A big difference there. Even though the Duratech made 200 HP vs 220 HP Yamaha engine with the same torque for both cars. But, I still have respect for both engines, cause both at very well crafted engines.Originally Posted by One_Bad_SHO

I still remember when I did my first tune-up on my Duratec after I had just bought the car. When it came to chaning to spark plugs, I was heart broken to what I saw it had in the engine some CHEPO BOSCH COPPER SPARK PLUGS. I thought to myself, what a cheap basta*rd the previous really was. I wanted nothing but the best for my tune up, so I installed the Autolite XP Xtreme plugs in my baby (gave me boost in trottle response), K&N intake, plus other quality parts, and poured in some Mobil 1 full synthic motor and tranny oil. I brought it back to life better than ever. It really bothers me to see some people treat their cars like crap, but unfortunately those people will still exist no matter what. Anyways, I hope you folks have years of enjoyment out of your high performance engines.![]()
TRUE THAT...that's like the 94 ATX SHO I had. When I first got it, it had Splitfire plugs and Autolite wires. Whomever had the car prior to me was TRYING to do right by it, but sadly, unless you're talking a custom wire company like Magnecore, no wires are better than the good Ol' Motorcraft. Same for the plugs. When you have a specialty car (funny to refer to a Taurus as a "specialty" anything), you have to do the proper research to find out what's best for it.

To those that care, there's an SHO V8 in Pull a part on the south side. There's also a 2g SHO atx in there as well.

You mean on Henrico off Bouldercrest? I was just there TODAY, and didn't see a GEN III SHO! Do you remember the row/line/color/anything?

You're just hating that there's a 626 out there that isn't spraying nor turbo that could possibly hand you your ass back to you on a silver tray. I'd probably be upset tooOriginally Posted by jc91sc

LOL...only way you could hand me MY ass back on a silver platter is if you ARE either spraying, boosted, or rotary converted. Otherwise, that 600-700lbs you're savin is for naught! Again...preciate the heads up!
