Default Go here for insurance (statefarm inside)

Everyone is asking about insurance rates but no one is giving people there agent's name etc. so I find that pointless.

Here's my story. I called over friday and was done in 30 mins. Girl named KC helped me out and her number is 770-381-1200, Tell her Khoi (pronounced Coy) referred you. She can give you a quote in about 5 mins.

Full coverage on my 2008 Ninja 250 was going to be 317 a year (coverage limits 25/50/25). I aired on the side of safety and got lots of coverage.
    250/500/100
    Um 250/500/25
    500 deduct on collision/comprehensive
    302.95/6 mths or 606/year

Progressive quoted 687 for the same coverage
All state (who my car is through) wanted 975 for 25/50/25 coverage where statefarm only wanted 317.

everybody's is gonna be different based on age, record, credit, size of bike cc..personally i find my coverage cheap compared with others and was happy w/ the savings I got and the amount of coverage i got.

better coverage than what i got? i'm curious as to your coverage limits are.

people dont list names and numbers for Agents because its like soliciting business without being a site sponsor. Kinda a grey area though. State Farm is the way to go for Bike insurance, or progressive depending credit

i vote state farm, my bike and my car are insured under them, agents name is Floria Izadi. she is in kenasaw. i also work at a body shop were i do insurance work and out of all the companies i have dealt with state farm is the best, they give you no hassel and they pay the most amount of money. all other companies try to find a way to give you the least amount of money possible, and its a headache when you are not paid accordingly for the stuff u are suppose to.

i ran state farm back in the day for my ninja but they are hard to setup through until you have car insurance or some other form of insurance through them. They dont want to give you just motorcycle insurance.

I have progressive now but am switching to ACE. They beat mine by 150.00 a year. I just have been to busy with work to call and switch over.

http://www.acecycleins.com/ check em out they are really cool.

before it was like that, but they changed the requirements and now all agents are able to write just a bike insurance, though some still say they won't unless you have another policy through them. KC will write just a bike insurance, i don't have any other policy w/ statefarm besides the bike insurance.

i tried 6 state farm agents in the area and had 1 that finally would do it, but because my brother who lives in my house lives at my house and has a crappy driving record they would not insure me because they said he could steal my bike while im asleep and wreck it and they would have to cover it. that irritated me a little bit. I had the back in 05 and 06 though with no issues so i dont see the problem now.

I'm using State Farm also. I pay $50 a month full coverage for my 2006 Yamaha R1 and I'm only 23. It was the best quote I got BY FAR for full coverage. I've turned a couple other riders onto them and if your driving record is decent they will have the best prices.

They wouldnt insure me because they said I was a full risk driver for getting a speeding ticket in a car 3 years ago. They are a bunch of dumbasses.

I mean honestly you know I getting a speeding ticket 3 years ago...not really that current, and in a car., not on a bike. They said they couldn't give me a quote and I was like why. They said we cant insure you anyway because you're a high risk driver. I was like wtf. Walked into progressive and had no problems at all.

    state farm ftw!

i was at the dealer buying my first bike, and i called up my agent and got setup over the phone in about 10 minutes. they faxed the temporary insurance cards to the dealer on the spot.

a little less than 50/month. i got a decent bit of coverage, and my driving record is horrible.
