Is it necessary to have new axles when doing a b18c-R swap into a 95 civic?

It is not necessary, however, it is highly recommended that you put new axles in. You should definitely install new axles if you are uncertain as to the condition of the current ones or the currents are damaged.Originally Posted by jakerd4892

If you are asking if you can use the axles you have, then no. You need integra axles. (should come w/ a swap) If you are asking if you should change them, visually inspect them and take it from there.
The EMPIRE
94+ integra axles
Thanks for the quick response, If anybody is still lurking, just want your opinion. Think i should go with the b series swap? I know it's common. I was looking at the H or even the K, but K is overpriced, and H series is heavy. Plus after i build my b series and then turbo it, i could be getting some serious horses out of it. Also, where is the best place, in your opinion, to buy a swap from? I am looking at passwordjdm
Hmotorsonline. Hands down.
The EMPIRE
pacific engine in chamblee sold me some clean swaps for good prices. other than them, id go with hmotors.
Thanks everyone
Think i'm gonna end up going with the b1bc-R 96+ spec.
I'm gonna set it up on a stand an build it before i even do the swap
as far as axles, yes, you have to swap them.. bseries comes with a half-shaft and two axles the same size, dseries has no halfshaft, and two axles that are different links..
as far as a swap, bseries is easiest.. and definitely worth the money!! never done h or k swaps personally though.. have helped with some though..
