yeah, i had to do this in mine as well.. just pull out the dimmer swith and unplug it... you can cut it if you want to, but then its hard to get it working again if you ever want to use it again..

there will be three wires, a Solid Black, a Solid Red, and a Red/Black. You want to connect the Solid Red and the Solid Black. This will turn your cluster lights on when your light switch is on! They will be on full bright, and you wont be able to dim them, but they will work.. if this doesnt work, there is some wiring problem... there is no need to plug it back into the dimmer switch, just make sure there are no exposed wires.. then you can just slide the dimmer switch back into place, and nobody will know
