how do they come up w/ emissions standards in GA, is it based on engine size or vehicle type, or is it vehicle by vehicle basis?

so wouldnt it be easier for a 2liter honda to pass than a v8 chevy?
true. And this is also why I like old cars that are exempt since i'm into the modding thing

Does anyone know of an emissions tester willing to "help" get a car through for a good tip.I have a speed density fox body mustang that wont pass and have to get my tag, please pm me if anyone can help.![]()
Basically you want us to help you give everyone lung cancer - nope sorry.
Get it tested, if it fails you'll find out exactly whats wrong. That should help you get it fixed.
1. take it to somebody who knows how to read an emission report. Tell him i need to pass. mechanic will tell you the parts you need, he will supply the parts and labor. you supply the cash. Then you go to the emission place. you are good to go.
2. take the fox body mustang up to mustang parts in winder and say give me a good deal on the this car cause it will not pass emission.
3. buy a house in a county that does not require emissions. This is the more expensive route to go to.
it's really simple to do i would think.
I live at an address that's not the address on my license or my permanent address. All I had to do was have my friend get a piece of paper and write "he lives with me at bla bla address" - SIGNED and then they will register your car to that county (is emissions free). I did this properly though as i actually live there.. but i'm sure people could take advantage of that
