its port and polished and has ctr cams bronze valve guides and the head has been shaved a little. i was just told that since it is built for turbo with the edelbrock intake that it will feel slower than it should until it is boosted.

roll the crank until the timing mark lines up and then see where the gears line up. intake manifold won't affect it that much.

the only way it'll feel stupidly sluggish being built for turbo is if it's like 8:1 or lower compression.
