you would be cheaper to buy a B20!
If you need a crank an main an rod bearings i got the bearings brand new an a Perfect super clean crank, if you have someone to do that for you cheap ..Best of luck sounds to me it is the rod knocking
Well the B20a5 will not work you would have to get a B20 from a CRV.. new main, rod bearings,an crank 175
if it is knocking an it is loud enough you can hear it, dont rebuild it. It would cost more in parts and machine work that its going to cost for a new motor.
The b20A5 wont fit, but you can pick up a B20B from NADAUTO.COM for $700 with a 6 month warranty.
You could find an LS motor cheaper but it will be used and there is no telling what you are going to get.
If its knocking, hate to say it but your going to need a new motor.

Hey i just pulled a b18b1 ls motor out my 90 civic and put my b16 back in you can come get the motor for 300 and save the headaches of rebuilding and it would be cheaper.
so it stopped the noise for two days. then started back and stopped. someone said it might be the oil jets clogged up? any suggestions.
