    Default 95 Miata Valve Cover

    All bolts are off, seal has broken loose, but I cant get the cover off. Somthing hin the back holding the vc on. Any ideas?

    how would i get those un hooked? I jsut need to change my damn gasket on my vc.lol

    Remove the bolts going through the coil bracket into the valve cover and lossen the lower bolt on the bracket on the back of the engine.
    Thats all part of the camcover gasket replacement.

    so i gotta get the bolts out of the back? damn that sucks.lol those are to get to

    yay, glad i get to try to get to those bitches. Need to do the gasket. I am currently leaking oil onto my spark plugs.

    Yea. I remember my first Miata VC. Kinda a pain in the ass but it's not bad.

    Did you pull the sensor out of the front of the VC? Do it, cus I broke it the first time i did it.

    Replace the O ring on the CAS while youre at it. When it leaks oil (and its famous for doing so) it ruins your heater hoses, and those are a whore to change. Have fun.

    yup, all the sensors and hoses were off. I guess its just the coil pack bolted on in the back?

    his doesnt have the sensor on the front of the vc but i do know what your talking about



    and for what its worth, i wouldnt worry about putting that bottom bolt back on. its not reeeaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyy needed. hell mine is doing fine without it.
