they help. reducing the iat, especially on very hot heat-soaking days it makes more of a difference. high iat=bad for power and detonation. it's cheap and reuseable so i would recommend it. i've got one, but just been too lazy to install it. i'll probably do it when i drop the new motor in.

havent u been talking bout this new motor for like 3 years now. you aint got nun!!! lmao

but on the other note: i met a guy on barrett a few years ago with a d16 vtec. he had a s2 intake mani, underdrives, and 4-1 header and the gasket. he said the gasket (oddly enough) gave him the most noticeable power gain. his car, his word, so id hope he wouldnt feel the need to lie about it. besides he didnt look like a salesman from hondata.

id like to do a b4 and power gain test on it. but id like to do a b4 and after test on every damn part made. i love R & D.

lol..the motor is ready...just too lazy and no real motivation to get it in. i figured when i popped the stock one it would motivate me to get it in. i just pushed the boost up to 14-15psi making 250whp on the stock internals and it's still going. i figure it's days are numbered now if i keep driving it at 15psi.
