    Default hood fitment

    my 97 civic has a 99-00 front end swap.. the hood looks like it sits up too hight in the front and has like a 1inch to 2inch gap between the bumper and hood around the grill.. could it be that i still have a 97 hood? ill try and get pics up.. or find an old one

    There are little rubber bump stops, screw those downwards and adjust to what you like. Also, you can adjust the latch. If you cannot, remove the latch and make the bolt holes a little larger.

    EDIT-u have the 97 hood? That'll be part of the problem. Get the proper hood first.

    no i mean i actually dont know if i have the 97 hood or not. thats what im thinking is that i have the wrong hood on here.. ive tried to adjust it as much as i can

    mason if you had a 97 hood you'd know...trust me it wouldn't fit at all...everything is different.

    you just have to tinker with it till it all looks nice

    yea pigs feet have also been known to do the trick

    take some before and after pics when you rub the car down with chicken blood n pigs feet.
