    ^ agreed.

Life begins at 6000 RPMS.. You will notice an audible change in engine noise, large increase in acceleration and any female passengers will immidiately start to remove their clothing.

With 160k on the motor, if you've NEVER run synthetic, there's a few risks involved too. If you have any oil leaks from where the seals are damaged or almost gone, the Synthetic has SO MUCH detergent power that it can tear straight through what's left and leave you with a much more significant oil leak. The best bet for what oil to put in your car is the oil you're using now, and simply change it more often. 2000-2500 miles should keep the oil in the car fresh and clean after the first few changes, as the increased cycle will actually help clean everything out of the engine even better than the engine flush kit stuff does if you give it time.

jus by the oil from advance or a parts store and DIY

Or bring your own oil to wherever you get it done at and pay the $10 for labor

Use Castrol syntec 10W40, or if you too afraid of the side effects, use just the standard Castrol 10W40 (white bottles w/ the green cap). In my opinion, Castrol oil performs much better than any other brand, and is recommended for Hondas. But if you decide to use Castrol, I'd suggest doing a proper oil flush, and time to start learning to do oil change urself man...

If u want to use synthetic you should start blending it into your engine. For instance if ur car takes 3 1/2 quarts use 2 1/2 quarts conventional and 1 quart synthetic and start going up on the amount of synthetic every time you change ur oil.

    238,800 miles on my b16a2

runs literally perfectly exactly the same since 3 years ago when i bought it.

religiously use Mobil1 full synthetic 10w30 in winter, 5w30 in summer.
